Harry Franssen has been around it all in the bus business - having started
out as a Bluebird bus salesman and later becoming the owner of one of the
most productive Thomas dealership in the country.  Harry has also been a
school bus operator and consultant with experience in everything from
busing contracts to logistics to human resources to asset management.

Harry has also been successful in the business of auto racing as well.  He
is the owner of Speedway Sports Park, a modern a clean campground
within steps of the New Hampshire Motor Speedway.  He has owned
racecars driven by drivers like Joe Bessey, Joey Kourafas, Mike Weeden
and Randy LaJoie.  He has also sponsored cars driven by Dave Dion,
Eddie MacDonald and Randy Potter.

Since founding Bus and Transit Sales, Inc., Harry has made contacts and traveled throughout the world.  He has a network of sources for used buses and a long list of regular customers in Central America, Africa and in the Caribbean. In his time away from the business, Harry enjoys the company of his two dogs - Ben and Mercedes, as well as spending time with his children and grandchildren and following University of New Hampshire hockey.

Mike Twist already has a lifetime of experience in the transportation and auto
racing fields and is now helping to grow the Bus and Transit brand.  A
graduate of UNC Charlotte, Mike has worked in the sport of NASCAR racing
as a member of the Bessey Motorsports Cup Series team, an assistant for
TNN Motorsports' television productions, a writer for National Speed Sport
News and the editor of Speed51.com.  Mike still covers races and writes
feature stories for Speed51.com and Speed 51 Radio, appearing at
semi-professional race events throughout the country.  He has also raced at
a number of tracks as a driver, including at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway,
Oxford Plains Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Hickory Motor
Speedway and Star Speedway.  He has visited victory lane on multiple
occasions at the historic Thunder Road Speedbowl in Vermont.

In the transportation field, Mike has worked in commercial sales for a leading New England General Motors dealership and was a partner in a used car / H&H Trailer dealership located in New Hampshire.  His success in marketing vehicles online has been written about in the book, "Tricks of the eBay Masters".  Mike has sold hundreds of vehicles from golf carts to big rigs through online and print marketing and has quickly become a knowledgeable resource in the bus industry.

Away from the bus business and the racetrack, Mike enjoys spending time with family, kayaking, four wheeling and going to car shows.


Craig Twist - Operations

Craig Twist passed down a love of machinery to his son Mike and now the
two work together on occasion at Bus and Transit Sales.  Craig is a former
drag racer who has also built oval track racecars, restored antique tractors
and maintained heavy equipment.  He is a professional law enforcement
officer and has earned a Purple Heart in the United States Marine Corp. 
At Bus and Transit Sales, Craig helps to assess and evaluate fresh
acquisitions, helps with logistics and serves as a consultant for the business.

In his spare time, Craig enjoys tinkering in his workshop, working on projects
using heavy equipment, restoring antique tractors and spending time with his
granddaughter.


Courtney Twist - Junior Intern

The youngest member of the Bus and Transit team, and the next generation
of the business, is three and a half year old Courtney Twist. 

Courtney can sometimes be found hitting the road with her father Mike to
acquire buses and meet customers.  Courtney enjoys these "adventures"
and works for a compensation package that includes Happy Meals at
McDonald's and ice cream at Friendly's.  She enjoys playing with her dog
Ginger, as well swimming, kayaking and anything related to Disney
Princesses.
